20 Day: South Africa Tour Itinerary Overview
You will be traveling at a time of the year when the animals are easily seen and in abundance with most animals having their young by their side. We will be visiting the famous Kruger Park, as well as private game lodges so you can get the entire experience. It is also the flower season and whale watching season in South Africa and you will see these spectacular events first hand.
Below is a summary outline of your itinerary, a comprehensive outline will be sent upon reservation inquiry.

Day 1: Arrival (Johannesburg)
Today you will have a chance to rest and recover from travel. You will be meet at airport in Johannesburg by Angela and driven to accommodation. First group get together over complimentary dinner. (D)
Day 2: Johannesburg main sites and attractions.
When taking in the sights of any nation it is essential to have some knowledge of its cultural tale and local history. South Africa is no exception and is a nation with a turbulent past. This stop will significantly enhance your understanding and appreciation of this beautify diverse country. We also make a start on our trip towards the Kruger Park staying over night in the quaint town of Dullstroom. (B) (D)

Day 3: Panorama Route
Today we visit the famous Blyde River Canyon, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Three Rondavels and Pilgrims Rest before arriving at our Kruger Park Lodge for the next three nights. (B) (D)

Day 4: Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is one of the largest wildlife reserves in Africa spanning over 19,000 square kilometers. With the day set aside for your safari vehicle drive, you will have the chance to see some of Africa's most spectacular wildlife. At the end of an exciting day a lovely dinner will be served at our lodge overlooking the Crocodile River. Hopefully we will hear the lions roaring while we are enjoying a drink and our meal. (B) (D)
Day 5: Kruger National Park
Another day with a safari in the Kruger National Park, however we also have some time to relax and watch the animals from the lodge or take in an optional activity.
Options include golf at the famous Leopard Creek Golf Course, a relaxing massage at your luxury accommodation overlooking the Kruger Park. (B) (D)

Day 6: Travel to Saint Lucia
Today we have our longest travel day on the tour, however it is very rural and you will get to see the farming areas and how the local people live, arriving at our accommodation late in the afternoon. (B) (D)
Day 7: Saint Lucia Wetlands to Durban
This morning we will take a river cruise on the Saint Lucia estuary, a place that is abundant with birds, hippos and crocodiles. We will also enjoy lunch during the cruise, making our way to Durban in the afternoon. (B) (L)
Day 8: Durban Sightseeing
This morning we take a tour of Durban City including "The Golden Mile" beach area. This afternoon is at your leisure for shopping or exploring the northern beaches.

Day 9: Big 5 Private Game Reserve
This morning we will be taking a short flight from Durban to Port Elizabeth (giving you a chance to see some of the landscape from the air). We will spend two nights here at a private Big 5 game reserve. All meals, alcohol and game drives are included. (B) (L) (D)

Day 10 & 11: Big 5 Private Game Reserve
Two more nights at this wonderful reserve with everything included.

Day 12: Tsitsikamma National Park
Today we will visit Tsitsikamma National Park via the renowned Garden Route on South Africa's eastern cape. The is a reserve well known for its indigenous forests, dramatic coastline.
Should you be feeling game, you will also have opportunity to bungee jump
off Africa’s highest bridge (216 metre jump). We will be staying in the Plettenberg Bay / Knysna area for the next two nights. (B)

Day 13: Garden Route
Today we will explore the areas of beautiful areas of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna. (B)

Day 14 & 15: Private Game Reserve Luxury Glamping
Today we will travel to a
Private Game Reserve where we will stay in luxury tents.
From here you will have several options of game drives, horse riding, playing golf at the
famous Fancourt club, or visiting the Cango Caves (B) (D)

Days 16: Garden Route
Today we will travel to Hermanus which has the best land based whale watching in the world. You can also choose the option of kayaking with the whales or shopping in this beautiful town. (B)
Days 17: Hermanus to Capetown
Today we will travel to Cape Town recently voted one of the most beautiful cities in the world, via Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope and Chapman’s Peak to our Camps Bay seaside accommodation. (B)
Days 18-20: Capetown
This city has been voted as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We will explore all the highlights during the next few days inlcuding spending a day exploring the famous Cape wine route areas of Stellenbosch. I have selected some of the best vineyards to visit with great food and wine aplenty.
Our last night group dinner will be at the beautiful Camps Bay at sunset.
